Uncover risky devices by monitoring indoor locations linked to fraud

Fraudsters are always looking for ways to outsmart device-based protections, often using multiple devices, tampering techniques, and factory resets to evade detection.

That’s where our Environment Linked to Fraud (ELF) detection steps in.

ELF identifies devices connected to indoor positioning signals that were previously linked to fraudulent activity.

That’s right: This added security layer detects the fraudster’s physical environment to help you stop fraud before it happens.

ELF enables you to pinpoint high-risk environments and flag potential fraud, even when the fraudster has reset their device or is using a new device.

What does ELF detection look like in action?

  1. A fraudster commits fraud on your platform and has their account banned.
  2. Using another device (or factory resetting the same device), they attempt to make a new account.
  3. ELF detects that the transaction is coming from a location previously associated with fraud and returns a high-risk response and the relevant reason code.
